What we don’t want
Let’s be direct so we don’t waste each other’s time.
We are not looking for:
- “State of SEO” talks
- “AI is changing search” overviews
- “Here’s what Google announced this year” recaps
- Generic “future of SEO” predictions
- Vendor pitches disguised as talks
If your talk could be summarized as “things are changing, here’s a list of trends”, please don’t submit it. Our audience already knows. They want depth, specifics, receipts, and opinions.
What we want
- Non-commodity content – stuff that can’t be Googled or ChatGPT-ed in 30 seconds
- Real case studies with real numbers (GA screenshots, GSC data, revenue figures, anonymized if needed)
- Strong opinions backed by evidence
- Tactical, executable insights – attendees should leave with something they can do on Monday morning
- Honest stories – what worked, what didn’t, and why. Specific verticals, specific problems, specific solutions.
The formats
Croatia SEO Summit 2027 runs across 3 days with multiple distinct formats. Each has a very different vibe, audience size, and expectation. Read carefully before choosing, you can apply for more than one if your content fits.
Workshops (Day 1)
90 minutes, hands-on, up to 100 attendees
Practical, deeply tactical sessions. Attendees expect to leave with frameworks, templates, or skills they can use immediately. Bring exercises, worksheets, or live walkthroughs. Not a long-form lecture.
Keynote (Day 2)
30 minutes + 10 minutes Q&A, main stage, up to 180 attendees
Big-room talks with strong narrative and a clear thesis. Must include original research, proprietary data, or a sharp opinion backed by case studies. This is where we want your best material, the talk you’ve been refining for months.
Operator Keynote (Day 2)
30 minutes + 10 minutes Q&A, main stage, up to 180 attendees
Same as Keynote, but specifically from an in-house perspective. Budget defense, internal politics, scaling SEO inside a company, dealing with leadership, vendor management. We want the stuff agencies don’t see.
Founder Keynote (Day 2)
30 minutes + 10 minutes Q&A, main stage, up to 180 attendees
For founders of SEO tools, agencies, or SEO-driven companies. Honest founder lessons: what scaled, what broke, what you’d do differently. No product pitches.
Debate (Day 2)
45 minutes, two speakers, opposing views
Pick a topic where you have a strong, defensible opinion that contradicts conventional wisdom. We pair you with someone arguing the opposite side. Examples: “Affiliate SEO is dead,” “Programmatic SEO is overrated,” “Link building is solved.” Submit your stance and your reasoning.
Fuck Ups Stage (Day 3)
12 minutes, receipts required
This is the most important format we run. The rule: REAL losses, REAL clients lost, REAL penalties, REAL money burned, with NO varnish.
We want the story of the disaster, what went wrong, and what you learned. Chatham House Rule applies, nothing leaves the room. Apply only if you’re willing to be genuinely uncomfortable.
Wins Stage (Day 3)
12 minutes, receipts required
The flip side of Fuck Ups. Real wins, but with receipts. GA screenshots, GSC data, revenue numbers, client results (anonymized if needed). No hand-wavy “we grew traffic 300%” without proof. If you can’t show the data on screen, don’t apply for this stage.
